Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has joined the protest calling for the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.
The All Progressives Congress Governor was spotted on the street of Lagos, on Monday, matching against the brutality of the unit of the police.
Citizens in and out of the country have been protesting for days against Police brutality and especially the actions of some members of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) which has led to the death of some innocent citizens over the years and in recent time.
Tweeting on his official page on Twitter, Sanwo-Olu stated that the safety of everyone involved in peaceful protests across Lagos is important and he will be communicating with Lagos Commissioner of Police to see to that.
