People offer Friday prayers online in Britain

People in Britain offered Friday prayers online, as the British government imposed a ban on congregational prayers at mosques amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The residents of Britain were asked to offer prayers at home. People listened to the Friday sermon online at home and later offered the prayer as well.

It is pertinent to mention here that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson tested positive for the coronavirus today.

Britain’s Health Secretary Matt Hancock on Friday said he had also tested positive for COVID-19, after Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he was self-isolating with “mild symptoms” of the virus.

“Following medical advice, I was advised to test for #Coronavirus. I’ve tested positive. Thankfully my symptoms are mild and I’m working from home & self-isolating,” Hancock announced on Twitter.
