2019 Canada polls: Analysts say election will be a tight race

Canadians will be going to the polls today to elect a new Prime minister.

The top contenders, incumbent Prime minister, Justin Trudeau of the Liberal party will go neck and neck with Conservative party leader Andrew Scheer in what many polls say is a close race.

Canada’s election takes place in 338 seats across the country and preliminary results are expected around 8pm on election night.
