Oyetola Urges Christians To Celebrate Christmas Peacefully

Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola, the Osun State governor, has admonished Christians to celebrate the Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ, peacefully.

Oyetola, in his Christmas message to residents of the state, while rejoicing with them on the occasion, urged them to allow Jesus’ message of love, peace and humility be their guiding principle.

He said: “I want to urge our citizens to continue to live in harmony, because, Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace, with a message of peaceful co-existence among the people.

He promised to continue to run a credible and all-inclusive government that would make life more abundant for the people.

Oyetola said that this could only be possible in atmosphere where everybody was free to contribute their quota to the economic development of the state.

“I urge you to show love to your fellow citizens as you go about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Let us keep the peace and be orderly as candidates canvass for votes ahead of the 2019 elections,” he added.
