The camp of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has alleged that the 2023 presidential election was criminally won by the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
The spokesman of the Atiku-Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, Daniel Bwala, alleged this on Wednesday while reacting to the conduct of the Saturday, February 25th election across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
On Wednesday, March 1, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Tinubu as Nigeria’s president-elect after having superior vote counts above PDP’s Atiku and other presidential candidates.
Reacting, Bwala said the silence that greeted Tinubu’s victory indicated something was wrong. He alleged that the election was criminally organized and Tinubu was helped by high-level precision between Nigerians and foreign agents.
In a series of post via his Twitter page, Bwala said the 2023 presidential election would go down in history as Nigeria’s most criminally organized poll.
He wrote: “Victory celebrated with graveyard silence. Something is just not right.
“This February 2023 election, otherwise called “2023 presidential allocation” will run down in the history of this country as the most criminally organized election with high-level precision between Nigerians and foreign agents.”
Lagos Votes Inflated To Get Obi Win As Consolation For Nationwide Rigging
In an earlier post, Bwala suggests that the votes garnered in Lagos State on February 28 were inflated to get Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to victory so the APC could strategically rig the election nationwide.
He further alleged that it was planned to get members of the PDP G5 governors to lose their senatorial bids as consolation to the PDP presidential campaign.
Bwala wrote: “The coordinated rigging Leads one to believe the theory that they strategically inflate Lagos votes to get Obi to win Lagos as consolation to rig him nationwide.
“Get the G5 to lose their senate bid as consolation to PDP presidential campaign, but in the hope that they would get them back im via tribunal.
“Allocate votes around emerging areas for candidates as proof of rising popularity in those places to create a semblance of transparency. This rigging must have been coordinated by a collaboration of individuals with of high-level criminal intent which only posterity would judge.”
