Look At What Happened To Peter Obi After Christians Voted For Him – Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide and media personality, Reno Omokri has said that the 2023 presidential election says a lot about the power of the Christian bloc vote.

Speaking via Instagram on Tuesday, Omokri, while sharing a picture of Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi with Bishop David Oyedepo and Pastor Paul Enenche noted that despite the united Christian vote behind Obi, he still lost the election.

He insisted that the Mulims votes were divided amongst Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) yet Tinubu still emerged as the winner.

Reno wrote; “The Islamic vote was divided three ways amongst Waziri Atiku, Asiwaju Tinubu and Kwankwaso. Meanwhile, the Christian vote was largely united behind Obi. Yet, look at the result! No matter the provocation, Christians must NEVER allow future elections to be about religion.

“It will not serve us well! We are in the heat of the moment and people are not yet thinking calmly. When you say these obvious truths, some of the very people who would benefit are the first to insult you with the vilest abuse. But no matter how we sugar coat it, this election says a lot about the power of the Christian bloc vote.

“Oya, insult me. The people that don’t know how to insult know how to vote and we are seeing their power.’’
