Omokri Reveals Only Correct Prophecy On Presidential Election

A former presidential aide and socio-political activist, Reno Omokri, has asserted that the only accurate prophecy on who will emerge winner of the 2023 presidential election is the will of the Nigerian people and not a declaration of any cleric.

It was understands that many self-proclaimed Christian and Muslim clerics in the country have before now predicted who will succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari’s tenure will elapse in a few months from now, and Nigerians will go out today, February 25th, to vote for their new choice for the next four years.

Omokri believes that only the interest of the citizens who dim if fit to exercise their civic responsibilities today will be correct for a prophecy and not some prophecies released by Imams, pastors or any Ustaz.

It was reports that Omokri is a staunch supporter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

In a Twitter thread on Friday, the former presidential aide charged all eligible voters to go out and vote for the candidate of their choice during the election.

“The only correct prophecy of who will be the next President of Nigeria won’t be given by any pastor or imam, prophet or Ustaz, bishop or sheikh. You, the Nigerian citizen, are the prophet of your destiny. Go out and vote for the candidate of your choice during #NigeriaElections2023,” Omokri wrote.

He added, “It is too late to change the minds of a critical mass of people. The elections are tomorrow. It is down to the wire. Let it go! Instead of politicking, let reconciliation begin in earnest. It is now time to move from battleground to common ground over the election.

“Sadly, many people take elections too seriously. They quarrel and sever relationships with friends and family that they know, because of politicians they don’t know. If you can’t love your friends and family that you know, you can’t love a candidate you haven’t met!

“There is a time for campaigns and there is a time to maintain. A time to struggle and a time to snuggle. You had your candidate and I had mine. But tomorrow we validate #NigeriaElections2023. Whatever the outcome, we will emancipate Nigeria and make our common estate great again.”
