Nigeria Decides: Vote sorting, counting begins in FCT

The Presidential and National Assembly elections are almost completed in some parts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

It was observed that the exercise was stopped at about 2:30pm in many polling units by the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Our correspondent visited some polling units in the Wuse area of the city where sorting and counting is ongoing.

At the polling unit, 014 Wuse Zone 6/Wuse 111 Primary school, about 490 voters were registered but only 150 persons were able to cast their ballots.

In some polling units where the counting commenced earlier, the Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi appears to be leading.
