The International Criminal Police Organization, known as Interpol, has arrested the self-acclaimed disciple of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Simon Ekpa, in Finland.

It was learnt that the Finland-based agitator was picked up from his residence near the Lahti Market Square after he allegedly threatened to stop the South East region from participating in the forthcoming general elections.

The self-styled disciple of the detained leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) had tweeted on Thursday: “We the people of Biafra will fight to the end this time.”

Prior to Ekpa’s arrest, the Nigerian Government had summoned the Ambassador of Finland in Nigeria, expressing serious concern over his threat to disrupt the elections.
