Retain Two Official Languages Of English, Arabic In New Naira Note — Adamu Garba Tells CBN

An ex-presidential aspirant of the Young Progressives Party, YPP, and now a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adamu Garba, has has called on the Central Bank of Nigeria to retain Arabic and English language in the new Naira note redesign by Buhari government.

Recall that CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele few days ago announced that newly redesign Naira Note will be released on December this year.

Adamu Garba who commend the development via his social media handle however called on the CBN to retain Arabic and English language on the new Note

He wrote: “Redesigning the Naira is long overdue. One of the giant strides of CBN Gov. Godwin Emefiele. However, wide-ranging consultation & rapid awareness needs to be created.

“For trust’s sake, the two official languages of English & Arabic need to remain, in addition to the local ones”.
