A yet-to-be identified female traveller has been murdered by gunmen suspected to be bandits in Zamfara state.
An eyewitness identified as Almustapha Abdullahi was killed along the Magami-Gusau road on Wednesday, December 29.
It was gathered that some other travellers were reportedly abducted during the attack.
Details about the incident are still sketchy at the time of this report but the woman’s body has been deposited at the General Hospital in Magami Town.
