No fewer than three explosions have rocked Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit.
According to Channels Television, the incidents occurred on Thursday, few hours before Buhari’s visit to the state capital.
President Buhari had been scheduled to commission an edifice donated by Mohammed Indimi to the University of Maiduguri.
He is also expected to commission some projects executed by the Borno State Government.
The Borno State Police Command is yet to comment on the incident as of the time of filling this report.
Details of the incidents are currently sketchy.
