Winner of Bbnaija season 4, Mercy Eke has given out the total sum of N5 million via her foundation to some women.
The media personality and actress took to her Instagram account to thank those who made the grant possible while also stating that the foundation was very dear to her.
Her friend Mike Edward and Diane Russet also attended the event in a bid to support her.
She wrote: “I want to use this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you that made the @mercyekefoundation grant giving day a success.
“This foundation is so dear to me and I just want to sincerely thank each and everyone of you who showed up for me yesterday.
“To my amazing team who put this together, thank you so much!!! I love you guys so much and you know how we do. ?
“And to my beautiful beneficiaries, I love you all so much and I’m proud of the women you all have chosen to become.
“It’s beautiful to see that each and every one of you have chosen to rise above the bare minimum. I hope you utilize this opportunity well and also in turn help others around you. Thank you”
