Four in police custody over criminal conspiracy, robbery in Niger

Four suspects are currently in the net of the Niger State Police Command over alleged criminal conspiracy, and armed robbery.

Umar Mohammed age 20, years of Sauka-Kahuta, Minna, Isah Umar age 21yrs of Agaie, Moh’d Moh’d age 22 years of Nmasaba area, Agaie as well as Mohammed Muazu age 35 years of Tudun-Fulani

They were said to have broken into the residence of their victim and robbed him of property worth millions of naira including cash to the tune of N1,080,000 in Agaie, Agaie Local Government Area of the state.

The state Police Commissioner CP Monday Bala Kuryas confirmed this at the command’s Headquarters in Minna.

According to him, the suspects broke into the house of their victim at the GRA Agaie, Agaie local government and carted away valuables worth millions of naira.

Upon receiving the information, the Police in the area swung into action which led to the arrest of the suspects.

They robbed the victim of his Toyota Highlander 2006 model black in color with Reg. No. ABJ 781 CV, five sets of clothes, jewelries valued about N190,000, cash sum of N1,080,000, one Infinix hot 4 handset valued about N55,000 as well as a Tecno handset.

He revealed that the suspects confessed to have conspired with other members of the gang who are presently at large, namely Moh’d Smally, Sadiq Sambo and Danjuma surname unknown.

However, some of the items recovered from them include the above mentioned vehicle, the sum of N180,000, Infinix phone, cutlass, knife and sticks.
