COVID-19: Nigeria records 86 new cases, 70 in Lagos, 7 in FCT, now 627 cases and 21 deaths

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 86 new confirmed cases in Nigeria for the 19th of April 2020, bringing the total confirmed cases to 627, OYOGist.com reports.

The latest NCDC report was released by 11:50 PM on the 19th of April, which shows that Lagos has 70 new cases, while the FCT has 7 new cases and 3 in Katsina, 3 in Akwa Ibom, 1 in Jigawa, 1 in Bauchi and 1 in Borno.

As of 19th of April, a total number of 170 cases have recovered and have been discharged and there are now 21 recorded COVID-19 deaths.

The NCDC also reported that a previous case was transferred from Kano to Jigawa, bringing the total number of cases in Kano to 36.
