A popular pundit on CNN International, Brooke Baldwin has declared on her social media page that her test result for the global pandemic, Coronavirus, shows positive.
According to the programme anchor, in a post on her Instagram page on Friday, her body language suddenly developed some reactions to fever and aches, adding that before then she has no underlying illness or health condition of any type.
However, she noted that has since gone into self-isolation, giving assurance to her colleagues that she is doing fine.
She said: “Hi friends, I’ve tested positive for coronavirus. I am okay.
“It came on suddenly yesterday afternoon. Chills, aches, fever.
“I’ve been social distancing. Doing all the things we’re being told to do. Still – it got me.
“I have no underlying condition. I’m healthy. I feel like one of the lucky ones.
“I look forward to being back on TV and seeing you real soon and shout out to the doctors and nurses who are doing the real work right now.“
This is coming a few days after it was reported that Chris Cuomo, a staff with CNN tested positive for COVID-19.
Reporting earlier, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday night announced that Nigeria has recorded 20 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19).
This was disclosed by the NCDC in a post on its Twitter page.
