Ogun Residents Groan Over Abandon Projects, Deteriorate Condition Of Agbado-Ishaga Road

The atrocious condition of roads at Agbado Crossing/Oke-Aro is not making residents in the area have fond memories of the former governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun.

Agbado Crossing is located in Ifo local government of Ogun state, it shares borders with Lagos state, the Agbado-Ishaga road interlink Ogun state with Lagos state and great number of residents of Agbado earn their living in Lagos state.

In a bid to be heard by the new governor, Dapo Abiodun, the residents have once again reiterated their plea and about the deplorable state of Agbado-Ishaga road interlink which is making living and business difficult for them.

The terrible state of the Agbado-Ishaga road makes vehicular movement quite frustrating, as motorists are made to move at snail speed.

A few years ago, the Ogun State government had embarked on some construction work from Sango end of Ogun through Ogbayo in Ijoko to Agbado Crossing down to Berger end of the State.

A lot of houses and other structures were pulled down. This was in a bid to build model roads that will bring development which was adversely lacking in the affected areas.

However, just like so many other projects in the Lagos/Ogun state border communities, the Agbado-crossing-Ishaga road was uncompleted by the Ibikunle Amosun administration.
