James Ibori Loses Properties To Edo State Government

Nigeria’s former Delta State Governor James Ibori has lost his right of occupancy for his property on Plot 103A, Aiguobasimwin Crescent, Old GRA, Oredo Local Government.

The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki who approved the forfeiture of the property to his government had given a three-month notification to the Delta’state elder stateman

Obaseki speaking further said he revoked the property in the exercise of the power conferred on him by sections (28) 1 and 38 of the Land Use Decree of 1978 and under all other laws enabling him.

Naija new however rcalls that the Delta’state elder statesman was arrested and sentenced to prison after convicting him of fraud and money laundering in 2012 by a United Kingdom court
